On the morning of 15 October 2025, His Excellency KAN Pharidh, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Okello Oryem Henry, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda, on the occasion of the 19th Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Kampala, Republic of Uganda.

During the meeting, H.E. KAN Pharidh and H.E. Okello Oryem Henry discussed the promotion of bilateral relations between Cambodia and Uganda and mutual support in international fora.

His Excellency Secretary of State also informed the Ugandan side of the Cambodia-Thailand border dispute, stating that Cambodia consistently upholds the principle of resolving disputes peacefully and in accordance with international law. Cambodia seeks a fair, equitable, and rules-based solution to ensure lasting peace for both nations.
