On 15 October 2025, His Excellency KAN Pharidh, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Her Excellency Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Minister for International and European Affairs of the Republic of Austria, during the 19th Mid-Term Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Kampala, Uganda.

H.E. KAN Pharidh also briefly informed Her Excellency the Minister of the developments of the Cambodia-Thailand border dispute. He emphasized that Cambodia consistently upholds the principle of resolving disputes peacefully and in accordance with international law. Cambodia seeks a fair, equitable, and rules-based solution to ensure lasting peace for both nations.

Her Excellency Beate Meinl-Reisinger responded that, after listening to Cambodia’s statement, Austria clearly understood Cambodia's situation.
