On the afternoon of 9 December 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Le Hoai Trung, Foreign Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister expressed his deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Viet Nam for the tragic loss of lives and devastation caused by the floods in November.

Both foreign ministers discussed ways to further strengthen and expand cooperation in all sectors and exchanged views on regional and international issues, including the latest developments regarding the Cambodia-Thailand border situation.
