Foreign Ministers of Cambodia and Vietnam co-chair the 21st Meeting of the Cambodia-Viet Nam Joint Commission on Economic, Cultural, Scientific and Technological Cooperation


On the afternoon of 9 December 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, co-chaired the 21st Meeting of the Cambodia-Viet Nam Joint Commission on Economic, Cultural, Scientific and Technological Cooperation (JCBC) with His Excellency Le Hoai Trung, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

 

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister underscored the great importance of the longstanding friendship between Cambodia and Viet Nam, which is founded on the principles of “Good Neighborliness, Traditional Friendship, Comprehensive Cooperation, and Long-lasting Stability.” This friendship has brought about significant achievements in socio-economic development and many other key sectors, yielding positive outcomes for the peoples of both countries.

 

As a fruitful outcome, both sides signed the Agreed Minutes of the 21st Meeting of the Cambodia-Viet Nam Joint Commission on Economic, Cultural, Scientific, and Technological Cooperation.
