The Opening Ceremony for the training course on “Culinary Diplomacy” for 15 senior diplomats’ spouses and diplomats


On the morning of 8 December 2025, the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR) held the Opening Ceremony for the training course on “Culinary Diplomacy” for 15 senior diplomats’ spouses and diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

 

The ceremony was presided over by Her Excellency PECH Puthisathbopeaneaky, Secretary of State and High Representative of His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, accompanied by His Excellency Cheuy Vichet, President of NIDIR.

 

Her Excellency the Secretary of State highlighted that the course was held in line with high instructions and forward-looking vision of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, aiming to actively engage in the implementation of the Royal Government of Cambodia’s economic diplomacy strategy.

 

Her Excellency also stressed the importance of promoting culinary diplomacy and encouraged all trainees to pay close attention to the trainers’ and chefs’ lessons and presentations.
