On the morning of the 9 December 2025, Her Excellency EAT Sophea, Permanent Secretary of State of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a brief meeting with Ms. Kanni Wignaraja, UN Assistant Secretary General and UNDP Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, during her visit to Cambodia from 5 to 9 December 2025. Her Excellency the Permanent Secretary of State welcomed Ms. Kanni Wignaraja’s visit and exchanged view with her on the challenges that Cambodia needs to address for its transition from LDCs by 2029. H.E. Mrs. EAT Sophea assured Ms. Kanni of Cambodia’s cooperation with UNDP and expressed deep appreciation for UNDP’s support for Cambodia's efforts to achieve SDGs.
